After having conversations with numerous captains, we empathise with their frustration of having to source multiple local SIM cards worldwide just to establish a connection onboard. Hours spent in queues, unreliable connectivity, and constant SIM swapping were far from a seamless way of operating. This realisation inspired us to offer a simple roaming SIM back in 2015 as an alternative and hassle-free solution for connectivity.

Our Managing Director, Mark Pattman, took to the docks and quickly discovered that this issue was widespread throughout the industry. To alleviate this stress, we developed straightforward plug-and-play data tariffs that catered to dual seasons, eliminating the need for constant worry. Our mission became focused around providing competitive and user-friendly SIMs.

Word of our solution spread rapidly, and our once modest fleet of 40 vessels swiftly grew to encompass 500 and beyond ranging from 20M sailing yachts to 110M+ motor yachts. Recognising the demand for voice and data mobile plans for crew members, we expanded our offerings to include permanent roaming mobile contracts.
